Mamadou Diallo is an immunologist in infectious diseases and holds a PhD in epidemiology. He is the coordinator and training manager of the ACE Partner project and scientific response coordinator for West and Central Africa of the WHO COVID platform operational research group. His work focuses on immunology, epidemiology and infectious diseases including malaria, AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections and Covid-19. Dr Diallo’s work has included malaria infection in pregnant women, reservoir cells and genetic mutations in HIV and the use of preventive methods against the transmission of AIDS.
