Inria
Inria is the French national research institute for digital science and technology. World-class research, technological innovation and entrepreneurial risk are its DNA. In 200 project teams, most of which are shared with major research universities, more than 3,500 researchers and engineers explore new paths, often in an interdisciplinary manner and in collaboration with industrial partners to meet ambitious challenges. As a technological institute, Inria supports the diversity of innovation pathways: from open source software publishing to the creation of technological startups (Deeptech).
In 2013, the Institute participated in the deployment and launch of the MOOCs platform France Université Numérique. Inria Learning Lab was created in june 2016 in order to make digital learning a key research issue and to bring Inria research teams together around this topic. Inria Learning Lab’s missions are to :
- produce a variety of digital training courses (those resulting directly from Inria research, those created with partners to develop a digital culture, or those developed as a research object);
- support the development of new technologies for e-education;
- be an actor in the transformation of education with digital tools;
support e-education research at Inria; - promote Inria’s know-how in the field of e-education.
