  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Effort: 3 hours
  • Pace: Self paced
  • Languages: French

What you will learn

At the end of this course, you will be able to:

    • Implement a comprehensive methodology to strengthen the presence of women in decision-making bodies;
    • Use tools to establish an institutional framework for equality (gender data collection, gender equality plan, training);
    • Recognise implicit gender biases and take action to reduce their influence in decision-making processes.

    Description

    Developed as part of the WE4LEAD project to strengthen gender equality in positions of responsibility, this MOOC offers a methodology and practical tools to promote a culture of gender equality in higher education institutions, as well as in any organisation seeking to become more equitable, inclusive and effective. The tools offered are diverse and complementary: gender-based data collection, index calculation, advice on drafting and monitoring a gender equality plan, definition of implicit gender biases, training in gender-neutral recruitment, and support in setting up sexual harassment hotlines. The WE4LEAD MOOC will equip you with the tools and keys to success you need to co-create fully inclusive organisations.

    Format

    This MOOC consists of a teaser, an introduction and five sections presenting the five main topics covered by the WE4LEAD project.

    Each section consists of two or three subsections (chapters) in video and PowerPoint format, with an animated introduction. Each section includes a simple multiple-choice test.
